I accidentally built a writing career, by taking on a wide range of writing jobs. I tried to be serious with it, but I took any opportunity to slip in a joke or two, which wasn’t ideal in legal briefs.
Long story short: I write comedy with a suspicious habit of drifting into crime. Short story longer: I write characters enduring relatable difficulties that turn a mirror on modern societal issues while using humour to soften the blow.
While my current WIP has elements of magical realism, for the most part I deliver contemporary works of satire.
In a world where stories are the hottest commodity, some characters are done playing second fiddle. They’re stealing the leading parts — even if it means wrecking other people’s happily-ever-afters.
